Deventer raamwerk

Visual artist Loes ten Anscher invites 2,300 people from Deventer to donate a finger or toe print to her project Deventer Framework.

The fingerprints are given a place in the frameworks of the Town Hall Quarter. Cast in aluminum and framed by oak windows. No two frameworks are the same. Just like the windows of the Lebuinuskerk, directly opposite the Stadhuiskwartier. A source of inspiration for Ten Anscher.

The Town Hall Quarter was designed by Michiel Riedijk of Neutelings Riedijk Architecten. Riedijk pays a lot of attention to the detailing of his buildings. This ensures that his buildings are very characteristic. Collaboration with artists and designers plays a major role in all his designs. “As an artist, I feel very honored that my proposal was chosen from the various art plans. It is great to give such a specific interpretation together with this architect. That the building really only belongs in my own hometown Deventer. ”
